Switch 2 restocks and stock drops have been coming and going since the console launched on June 5, and it's been tough going out there for anyone still trying to get their hands on the new console.

This has particularly been the case in the US, with only rare restocks happening, and retailers often preferring to stock up in stores rather than online. In the UK, stock has been coming and going more readily, though we are experiencing a bit of a dry period right now.

However, things are looking up in the US with a recent restock at Walmart providing a great opportunity, as well as Antonline providing big bundles starting at $609.95. The initial rush, naturally, swallowed almost all of the stock but Antonline still has a bundle up for grabs!

Remember, a Nintendo Switch 2 console by itself goes for $449.99 / £395.99 / AU$699.99. There's also an official bundle that throws in a digital copy of Mario Kart World and costs $499.99 / £429.99 / AU$769.99. We definitely expect to see retailers offering their own bundles, too, however.

I've been covering the Switch 2 pre-order and stock situation for weeks now, and know how to search and gather up, and present all the best links at the top of this live blog to use, as well as live updates at the bottom of the page, offering a steady stream of the latest tips to help you out.

Antonline has restocked the Switch 2 and now offers bundles starting at $609.95.

Walmart has run out of its June 25 restock, sadly, so we're back to square one with the retail giant.

Amazon US has been unbelievably quiet on all things Switch 2, so we're hoping for big things to come soon.

Best Buy had in-store launch day stock and an online restock on June 23 but has now sold out.

Target hasn't seen stock in a little while as far as I can tell, unfortunately. Still, it's worth checking in and keeping an eagle eye on this retailer for more stock drops.

GameStop still only has stock available in stores, so you'll have to go to your local one to see what's available. Nothing online yet.

Sam's Clubdid have stock for members sporadically since launch but has been solidly out of stock for a while now.

Keep an eye on this store for any post-launch day stock, though it has been extremely quiet so far. There should be some available at some point, but we don't know when.

Newegg is a bit of an outsider for stock, having done very little in the pre-order phase despite having listing pages up for a while. One to watch.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is probably our most anticipated Switch 2 accessory and is currently widely available.

The official Samsung microSD Express card is readily available right now and is a perfect acquisition for fans looking to go huge on games at launch and get stuck into plenty of titles without having to worry about space.

Probably the most fun Switch 2 accessory, the Piranha Plant Camera from HORI is available to pre-order right now. However, do remember that it has a lower resolution than the official Switch 2 camera at just 480p.

Even though it'll arrive a little after the Switch 2's launch, the next 3D Donkey Kong game is going to be a brilliant one to play as one of the first bona fide Switch 2 games.

The Switch 2 version of Tears of the Kingdom could well be the definitive version of the game to play with plenty of graphical enhancements to make it look even more stunning.

If you didn't play Breath of the Wild when it first released way back in 2017, then the upgraded version on Switch 2 is likely to be the only version you ever need to consider buying.

Offering a brand new experience in the form of Star Crossed World, this version of Kirby and the Forgotten Land will offer something extra special on Switch 2.

This could be an incredibly enjoyable way to enjoy CD Projekt Red's bustling and bombastic adventure on the move. We're looking forward to getting stuck into this one.

Amazon has been showing stock of the standalone console and Mario Kart World bundle on and off recently, so it is definitely one to keep an eye on.

At the time of writing, Currys has completely sold out of all the inventory it had last week. One to watch, though.

The PC-focused retailer currently has pre-order stock available of the console and Mario Kart World bundle.

ShopTo has the Switch 2 and Mario Kart World bundle up for back order right now.

Very's Switch 2 bundles are nowhere to be seen at time of writing, sadly.

As of a recent check, The Game Collection has no longer got any bundles in stock.

John Lewis has Switch 2 bundles listed but not a lot of stock available, but do keep checking back with the retailer.

Argos did have some Switch 2 units in stock recently, but it already appears to have sold out. Still worth a bookmark in case it receives extra units via order cancellations.

EE is currently out of Nintendo Switch 2 stock. But check back with it for stealthy restocks.

The official My Nintendo Store is. good place to secure Switch 2 consoles; be ready for restocks.

JD Williams is a reliable place for Switch 2 stock but hasn't seen much recently.

HMV is still another option to have in the pocket, but it never seems to have loads of it when it does restock.

Game had a bit of stock on June 11 but has now sold out and has been one of the quietest retailers on the whole. In-store might be worth a look though.

I've been covering gaming hardware launches for more than half a decade now and experienced firsthand the tough days of the PS5 and Xbox Series X stock shortages, and graphics card releases a few years ago. I've been hardened by those experiences, but was also one of the only people to also cover the PlayStation 30th Anniversary release day stock on the hunch that there would be inventory - and there was. As a result, I know what I'm doing and also know a thing or two about presenting all the pertinent information and links to you in the most efficient way so you can find any launch day stock as quickly as possible.

Sadly, in the UK, no such bombastic or fulsome restock has happened for a little while, and certainly not this week.

You can still place back orders or pre-orders for stock at ShopTo and ebuyer, respectively, but you'll be waiting a while for them to arrive with you.

Hmm, weird. That Antonline bundle is playing up for me now.

Where I once had it in my basket as normal, the listing now says it is unavailable when you click on it - despite allowing me to keep it in my basket and progress...

Yesterday, we saw the US finally getting Switch 2 restock action in what felt like the first time in weeks and weeks!

Both Walmart and Antonline had a bunch of stock available for folks to buy, and in even greater news for any US night owls tracking stock with us right now, there's still some availability!

Hello Switch 2 restock hunters! We go once more unto the breach, after an exciting day yesterday in the US.....

We're nearing the midnight hour here on the east coast of the United States, and with stock nearly gone at Walmart, we're going to sign off for now. However, fear not; links for other retailers are available above, and for Walmart below, in case you'd like to try your luck.

Upon a quick refresh, I am still seeing the option to "add to cart" for the bundle of the Switch 2, but your experience may vary.

And my colleagues in the UK will be back in just a few hours to cover TechRadar's live reporting of the Nintendo Switch 2 restock.

At over an hour since this restock began for non-Walmart+ members, I am now seeing no more availability for the standard Switch 2 and "99% claimed" for the Switch 2 with Mario Kart World bundle. Of course, this might fluctuate, but it's clear that Walmart's restock supply is running dry.

Still, it's worth a refresh to see if you can add the console to your cart.

Just minutes later, and as we expected since Walmart+ members had first access, I am now seeing 99% for both consoles. I also saw the Switch 2 with Mario Kart World listed as out of stock, but that might be due to the current load on Walmart's site.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some TechRadar readers will be able to secure the Switch 2 with this restock, though.

Jacob Krol here to carry us through, and while I don't have a Walmart+ membership, I am seeing some availability for the Switch 2 and the bundle with Mario Kart World at the retailer. However, it may take a few tries on the refresh button to get through.

Once it does load, I am seeing 99% of this deal is gone for just the console, and 98% is gone for the bundle. I'm wishing you all the best of luck!

There it goes: no more Nintendo Switch 2 systems available at Walmart for now. There are still a few bundles left to grab, so if you're hoping for a Switch 2, that's your best bet right now.

Quick stock update at 10pm ET: Nintendo Switch 2 standalone systems are almost entirely sold out, and there's still a decent amount of stock for the Mario Kart World Bundle.

Again, if you don't have a Walmart+ membership, now's your chance to jump in. I highly doubt we'll see this stock stick around much longer.

There's just under five minutes until the flood gates open to everyone regardless of Walmart+ status. I wouldn't be surprised if all stock is gone within 20 minutes once that happens.

After a stock check from my colleague Jacob Krol, it looks like there are quite a few more units for the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle than there is for the standalone system.

You still have some time to grab a Walmart+ free trial and secure a Switch 2!

I just spoke with my colleague Jacob Krol, and as we expected, it really pays to be a Walmart+ member as we're already seeing it down to 99% of this deal is gone at 32 minutes after it went up. He's also let me know that Walmart is a bit too slow and as a non plus member, the odds are slim.

After just over thirty minutes, 99% of tonight's Switch 2 restock at Walmart is already gone. I'm not the slightest bit surprised. It's possible we see another wave of restocks around 10pm ET for non-Walmart+ members, so stick around.

I'm now able to add a Switch 2 bundle to my cart - but only for the next 10 or so minutes. Get in now while there's still stock left!

Once you secure your spot in line, you'll have 10 minutes to add the Switch 2 to your cart. It looks like there's a wait period right now of about 30 minutes once you click "Hold my spot in line and keep shopping."

From "out of stock" to "Hold my spot and keep shopping," the Switch 2 is back in stock at Walmart. This is not a drill. Get in line while you still can!

Suddenly, the US potential literally doubles! How exciting!

In excellent news, Antonline has confirmed with us that a Nintendo Switch 2 restock is happening at 1.30pm ET today!

We don't know exactly how the retailer will sell the console - in bespoke bundles, etc - but the confirmation is definite!

With such a well advertised Switch 2 restock, it is possible that other retailers may have worked hard in the background to secure stock to rival the massive retailer.

There is absolutely no guarantee of this, of course, and I say this out of pure hope rather than expectation - it just gives us another tiny, tiny reason to keep abreast of the other retailers while Walmart does its thing later...

So, as well as signing up for Walmart+ to be in with a good chance of getting the console, there are some other things to do as well.

First, make sure your details are correct in your Walmart account, and then also ensure your payment details are up to date - this can really help expedite check out.

Second, make sure you use the right links to sit on and refresh. With resellers able to infiltrate Walmart's listings, there's no point risking ending up on the wrong product page - use the ones below instead!

Just had another browse around the US retailers and I've seen there's some in-store Nintendo Switch 2 stock listed at Target. Not many stores are listed with stock and most that do show limited availability so it might be tough, but you could get lucky with a console bundle if it's showing as available near you.

I thought I was past all this stock hunting shenanigans after the fun of PS5 and Xbox Series X restocks years ago, but I'm back at it again.

There hasn't been a great deal of change since Rob's update earlier today and we're mainly still counting down to tonight's Nintendo Switch 2 restock at Walmart. I've got an eye on other US retailers at the same time, as drops usually come in waves, but with Best Buy and GameStop going earlier in the week and other stores remaining quiet, I'm not expecting any more console drops today.

It's been better in the UK since the Nintendo Switch launch but even then, at the time of this post, there are only pre-orders on stock available at a couple of retailers - because they themselves don't have stock yet.

You can see the full picture with all the below retailers, but it's not looking great today for UK shoppers.

Well, aside from US folks looking forward to the Walmart restock in about 13 hours time, the US stock situation has been dire. Really, really dire.

We've seen very occasional restocks online with Best Buy the last to do so, but that retailer, along with GameStop in particular has preferred to stock physical stores rather than the digital shelves, so if you didn't have a local store nearby, then you were bang out of luck.

Elsewhere, Antonline's relatively recent restock seems ages ago, Amazon has been unusually quiet, and Target hasn't had anything for ages too. It really is a dark time at all of the retailers below.

The catch on Walmart's restock is that Walmart+ members will be able to have a one-hour head start compared to everyone else, with the hour of 9pm to 10pm ET reserved exclusively for members of Walmart+.

This means, given the history of previous restocks, I think you'll almost certainly have to be a Walmart+ member to stand any chance of getting a Switch 2 today.

Luckily, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial, which looks safe to gain you access to this Switch 2 restock - I remember in the PS5 shortage days that free trial members were still excluded, but thankfully, that doesn't appear to be the case here!
